FAQs
Why should I get my home inspected?
Foundation repair, especially in our region is a risky business. Improper repair, or inaccurate information can cost you thousands of dollars. Our fee is a small percentage of the average foundation repair cost. However, we can save you thousands on potential repair mistakes or improperly analyzed foundations.
What will the inspection cost?
Please visit the pricing page to find how much the inspection will cost. If you have any questions please call our office.
Should I get a final inspection?
A final inspection ensures that the work has been performed to our standards. Not only does this report give you peace of mind, it will be very important when you wish to sell your home or re-finance.
What is included with the initial inspection fee?
The fee includes a written foundation inspection report. The report will include details involving the inspection, a detailed repair plan, and a drawing of the property with the elevations that were taken during the inspection. The report is signed and sealed by a professional civil engineer, which is required in many cities to perform foundation work.
Quick Tips
Brick cracks, sheetrock cracks, and "sticking" doors are all signs of possible foundation problems. However, not all cosmetic damage is due to settlement. Poor drainage and water leaks can cause just as many problems as settlement. As independent engineers, we evaluate all possible scenarios to ensure the foundation is repaired properly.
